It appears that Leica is ready to release an additional collector’s version of their famed M8. The above, a special all white M8. Price and availability unknown as of yet, though as a point of reference, the Safari special edition was around $10,000.

    Some, like Michael Johnston, are derisive of such cameras. But I say that without the collectors’ market, Leica would not even have survived this far, so good for them.
