The Sony A900 Digital SLR Camera Shipping in October.

Or at least that’s what I’m hearing…

The announcement is early next month, the first 900’s ship early October

from the forums…

I’ll just remind readers in all likelyhood (this rumor aside) September’s Photokina will bring us a 24 megapixel, full frame, pro body camera from Sony. There’s a good chance it may go for less $3000. Just something to think about if you’re:

• about to purchase the Nikon D700
• waiting for the Canon 5D replacement
