The Hot List: Canon Powershot S90 Leads the Way

Interest in the Canon Powershot S90 continues to be sky high. It’s one of the most popular search terms coming into the site. The S90 posts are getting the most traffic, and the S90 has been the biggest seller from folks here supporting the site and shopping through our links to B&H Photo and Amazon. We’ve been using the S90 this week and really finding very little to fault in it. I’m sensing good things for it in our upcoming review. You can read our introduction to the S90 here, complete with comparisons to the Canon G11, another camera we’re having fun with this week.

Rounding out the top 5 are pre-orders on the Olympus E-P2, The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35, and the Canon EOS 7D. The Olympus E-P2 adds the male interest by going all black and ships with a very cool and welcome viewfinder. We should have the E-P1 in the studio sometime this week for review purposes, but trust me there’s more fun than work involved. The ZS3 seems to be the golden child camera, just does everything well, and has been quite popular and frequently hard to get since it’s announcement. The FZ35 is Panasonic’s superzoom offering, that seems to be consumer’s first choice for this type of camera. We’ve got one in the studio right now, and I certainly can see the appeal.
