Everyday it gets a little closer. I played with today’s image using shadows/highlights in Photoshop. Notice the camera name has been removed or covered and a large block of black covers the bottom half of the camera, I’d guess this is to hide 3 possibilities…

With Canon’s announcement Wednesday of it’s new camera and lens lineup, it would appear very unlikely that I’ll be getting a chance to see a replacement for the EOS 5D. While I suppose there is a tiny shred of hope that Canon might say something at the actual PMA, their history would indicated this unlikely.
