Is the Canon EOS 5D Mark II too good to be true? That’s what I keep asking myself, because every first look or early impression that I’ve seen points to the new 5D being something very special, and as a Nikon fanboy I’m beginning to wonder am I really starting to drink the Kool-aid?…

With Canon’s announcement Wednesday of it’s new camera and lens lineup, it would appear very unlikely that I’ll be getting a chance to see a replacement for the EOS 5D. While I suppose there is a tiny shred of hope that Canon might say something at the actual PMA, their history would indicated this unlikely.
