A real good look at the Sony A500 from digitalkamera.de. It’s a bit more “enthusiast” than the A330/380 offerings, for one bringing back the more traditional grip. Other notables:

12.3 megapixel sensor
9 point AF
Dual Live View w/ Quick AF mode and 14x loupe
Face Detection for up to 8 faces
NP-FM500H battery from the A900
ISO range to 12,800
5 fps
3 inch 230,400k fold out LCD
HDMI out

    Good lord, so many cameras, it’s impossible to choose.
    Good news is that it’s virtually impossible to find a poor camera, so long as it about fits your purpose.
