The Boston Globe’s Big Picture is featuring Jason Hawkes photographs in it’s most recent edition. For the unfamiliar, Hawkes’ photography is typically taken from an aerial perspective, and the imagery can be striking, beautiful, and often…playfully abstract.

I’d give advise on how you can take pictures just like Jason Hawkes, but unfettered access to airplanes, helicopters, and fly-zones, may be a bit beyond most of us.
