Pentax K-x Review at Photography Blog: “Essential”

Pentax appears to be having a run on well received products. Initially it was their feature-rich and competitively priced K-7 that brought the warm reviews, now the entry-level Pentax K-x is earning it’s share of good reviews, or more accurately, very good reviews. The latest review courtesy of Photography Blog:

On a more positive note, the K-x’s image quality is excellent. The K-x creates noise-free JPEG images from ISO 100-800, only starting to become apparent at ISO 1600, with progressively more noise and colour desaturation at the highest settings of 3200, 6400 and the attention grabbing 12,800 setting.

The K-x goes on to receive an “Essential” rating. It felt like a winner when we first saw it at its introduction, but it’s good to see it getting some well deserved appreciation.
