Our Review of the Canon PowerShot G11 Now Posted
Hey folks, our review of the very nice Canon PowerShot G11 is now up. Find out if the latest entry in the G series is right for you right here. I’ll just add that I enjoyed our time with the G11, and would like to thank B&H Photo for supplying us with one to review so quickly. If you’re considering getting a G11 or any other camera equipment, you have to check out B&H–which by the way, also helps to support this site, and insures we can keep providing you with more reviews.
From a reviewer’s perspective, there isn’t much wrong with the G11, it gets a lot of things write, and really will only miss with some fans by lacking HD video. It’s a real workhorse type camera, good at getting the job done. From a photographer’s point of view, and from the creative side of things, I really wish Canon would consider putting an APS-C sensor in the next “G” camera. There’s just something amiss when a camera is this big, and yet housing a sensor so small.
Still, the G11 is a nice handling camera, and yes, it takes a pretty good picture too.
