Olympus E-P1 Firmware Update: Version 1.1
Olympus has released firmware updates for its Pen digital camera, the E-P1 and the two lenses currently available for the E-P1, the M. Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 and the M. Zuiko Digital 17mm 1:2.8 pancake lens. Version 1.1 claims to make improvements to the E-P1 while in continuous AF mode, while the firmware updates for the lenses aim to improve their respective autofocus performance as well.
The new Pen has proved quite popular thus far, but the one nagging critique of it has been the autofocus performance, so it’s nice to see this being addressed by Olympus.
The updates are available through the Olympus Master/Studio software.
