With the E-30, Olympus allows the amateur photographer to get very creative, without a whole lot of technical skill, all while using a very powerful camera. This approach has continually won over reviewers, and does so again at Digital Camera Review:

There were a few minor bumps in the road for the E-30, but as a rule, we’ve come away generally impressed from our time with this camera. Olympus has certainly packed in all the right features to make this model appealing to the enthusiast market.

The only catch with the E-30 is the price, but that’s coming down and it does offer plenty of power, both in megapixels and creativity.
