Nikon D90: A Really Good Camera
I spent Memorial Day at the Bronx Zoo, and ended up using the Nikon D90 quite a bit. It’s very responsive, a faster frame rate than the 5D Mark II even, and image quality is very good. Based on my previous testing I knew I’d be OK using ISO 1600, which you end up using in the indoor areas of the zoo. The above an example of ISO 1600 bringing home a usable shot of a lemur, who ended up being a terrific model. A larger version of the shot is here. So thanks to the D90, I got quite a few keepers for my personal work, this one being just one.
