Photographyblog.com has a great article up with photographer Jan Vermeer who took his Nikon D300 down to the Antartic. It should put to bed all questions you never had about the D300’s toughness in ridiculous extremes. Whilst I haven’t yet encountered a “Nikon D300 survives lava flow” article yet, I’m sure one is in the works.
