Nikon AF-S DX 18-105mm f3.5-5.6G ED VR lens Review
A popular kit lens for Nikon’s entry level cameras, the Nikon AF-S 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR provides the equivalent range of 27-158mm with vibration reduction for an attractive price. CNET reviews the Nikon AF-S DX 18-105mm f3.5-5.6G ED VR and finds some of the typical compromises in lens with this range, but overall it provides pretty good performance, perhaps even besting the 18-200mm?
at 50mm, it is noticeably sharper than the 18-200mm, and about the same as the 16-85mm. There’s minimal sharpness loss around the edges, good for a consumer lens.
