Image comparison: Nikon D3, D700, D300

For those of you like me who should be buying a D300, but are considering purchasing the D700, this comparison by Rockwell should help to strengthen your resolve.

I point it out because unlike a lot of test shots, this one is a little more real world. Of course the caveat is that ISO is set to 200, but still for most folks this a excellent “normal” reference. Also I’ve noticed a tiny bit of price difference between the D300 and the D700, just something to think about…
