Canon EOS 7D on September 1? 18 megapixels, HD Video

A possible glimpse (for more see below) of the Canon EOS 7D and feature highlights in poster form courtesy clubslr.com’s forums. The specs on the poster include:

• 18 megapixels
• 8 fps
• 19 point AF
• HD movie
• 100% viewfinder
• 3 inch LCD
• ISO 6400
• Dual DIGIC IV

Not sure about sensor size, but the EF-S lens would indicate APS-C (1.6x), which I would respond to with: “Noooooooooooooooo!”

Fingers crossed that this isn’t accurate, or that it is a 35mm size sensor with crop ability for EF-S lenses. 18 megapixels on APS-C would just be so, disappointing.
