Canon has released a firmware update for the Canon EOS 50D. Version 1.0.7 addresses the following:

Corrects a phenomenon where captured images may tend to appear somewhat magenta depending on the shooting scene. Fixes incorrect indications on the Arabic, Romanian, Spanish, and Ukrainian menu screens.

Leica has released pricing and delivery date (at least for the UK) for its 37.5 megapixel S2. The date is October, the price is £15,996, which works out to about $26,000. I wonder what the camera strap is like?
